Northern Circuit Route: The Ultimate Kilimanjaro Climbing Experience with Everyday Safaris

Are you looking for the most scenic, well-paced, and successful way to climb Mount Kilimanjaro? The Northern Circuit Route is the longest and most immersive route to the summit, offering breathtaking views, excellent acclimatization, and a truly unique adventure. With its extended itinerary, this route provides the highest success rate among all Kilimanjaro routes. At Everyday Safaris, we offer expertly guided climbs via the Northern Circuit Route, ensuring a safe, rewarding, and unforgettable trek to the top of Africa’s highest peak (5,895m).

Why Choose the Northern Circuit Route?

1. Highest Success Rate

The Northern Circuit has the best acclimatization profile of all Kilimanjaro routes, with an extended duration of 8–9 days. This significantly increases the chances of reaching Uhuru Peak successfully while minimizing altitude sickness.

2. Unmatched Scenic Beauty

This route takes you around the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro, offering breathtaking views of Kenya and untouched wilderness. From lush rainforests and alpine deserts to glaciers, the Northern Circuit is the most diverse route on the mountain.

3. Less Crowded & More Remote

The Northern Circuit is the least crowded route on Kilimanjaro, providing a tranquil trekking experience. While other routes may be busy, this trail offers solitude and an intimate connection with nature.

4. Excellent Acclimatization Strategy

The Northern Circuit follows the Climb high, sleep low principle, allowing trekkers to gradually adapt to higher altitudes. This approach reduces the risk of altitude sickness and ensures a more comfortable ascent.

5. Unique 360-Degree Trek Around Kilimanjaro

Unlike other routes that take a direct approach to the summit, the Northern Circuit offers a full panoramic journey around the mountain. This allows trekkers to experience all sides of Kilimanjaro and maximize their adventure.
